About GoodSkin
GoodSkin turns one selfie into a skin score across 14 traits, so you can see what is working instead of guessing. It is an independent app with no skin care brand behind it.

Breakouts on the cheeks and chin
30 Focus firstThe mirror is a poor judge of skin. A different window, a lamp, a late night, or a good mood all change what you see, and a new product takes weeks to show results. By then it is hard to remember how your skin looked before.
GoodSkin gives you the same read every time: one selfie, the same 14 traits, a score with a confidence rating, and a history by month. When you change your routine, you can tell whether it helped.
Track the trend, not the day.Why your scan history shows a monthly average, not just single scans
There are no accounts. A selfie is analyzed and not stored on our servers, and your scan history lives on your phone.
Every report carries a scan confidence rating, and blurry or dim photos are flagged so you can retake them. GoodSkin is cosmetic and educational, not a medical device.
GoodSkin is not owned by a skin care brand. Its tips name ingredients and habits, never a product we profit from.
Skin type, undertone, color season, face shape, and more. They run in your browser, and the photo never leaves your device.
How a scan works
Face a window in daylight, no filter. The app checks the light and focus before it reads anything.
Pores, redness, texture, hydration, wrinkles, and more, each scored out of 100 and combined into your skin score.
Each trait comes with what to do next. Scan again in the same light and watch your monthly average move.
GoodSkin is free to download, with the full report, unlimited scans, and tracking in GoodSkin Premium. Read what an AI skin analysis measures.
Editorial standards
The GoodSkin guides answer the skin questions people search most. They are written to be useful today and honest about what the evidence says.
Claims are checked against the American Academy of Dermatology, the NHS, DermNet, and peer-reviewed research, linked where they are made and listed at the end of each guide.
When a trend has little behind it, or a popular rule is a myth, the guide says so plainly.
Every guide shows when it was published or last updated, and is revised when the evidence changes.
Nobody pays to be mentioned, and no link earns a commission.
Guides say when something needs a dermatologist: anything that hurts, spreads, bleeds, or changes quickly.

Independent
GoodSkin is designed, built, and run independently. There is no skin care brand behind it, so the only thing it asks you to buy is the app itself.
